There are certain times in your life in which you probably find yourself procrastinating and have struggles with your productivity. Luckily there a many tips on how you can improve your productivity. I’ve made a list with a few of them, so stick around and maybe try to implement some of these tips on your life.
1. A Morning Routine
To be productive you need to have a structured and organized day.
A morning routine will help you with that.
You will have a much more organized day and you will put yourse
lf in the right mindset.
By ticking of important parts of your routine, like working out o
r having a healthy breakfast, will put you in the right work mode.
So the first thing to do is implementing a morning routine.
2.Writing a productivity journal
Writing a journal with your accomplishments will help will your productivity massively.
Try to write down every morning the things that you have planned for the day.
Writing these goals will make you want to accomplish them much more then just thinking about them.
When you have finished a task tick it off to get a feel of accomplishment that will make you want to pursue the next goal.
Try to not overwhelm yourself at first by writing down a hundred things.
Stick to 3 things that are the most important for you and your big goals and dreams.
3. A powerful mindset
In the motivation post I’ve already talked about how important a strong mindset is that can motivate you internally.
You need to be aware of how good your life already is and be grateful.
To be able to work, you need goals and a purpose to pursue.
To achieve these goals, you need to delete the negative thoughts.
Flood your brain with positivity.
You need to constantly remind yourself that you can achieve your goals.
Try to think 2 times a day, in the morning and the evening, a ser
ies of deep thoughts about gratitude, positivity and your dreams.
4. The Pomodoro Technique
The Pomodoro Technique is a time management technique invented by Francesco Cirillo.
The intention is to not tell yourself to work for 10 hours .
Because then you will likely procrastinate.
Instead you should work for 45-60 minutes and then rest for about 10-15 minutes.
After the break you go for another work session.
That way you more likely to get more done and not be distracted along the way.
So try it out: set yourself a timer of 45 minutes and work.
Then set a 10 minute timer for your break.
Proceed that process until you get everything done.
If you want to get more done you need to remove distractions.
Little distractions in between your work sessions can drastically reduce your focus.
Turn off the your phone notifications, delete useless apps etc.
Take some time of your day in which you can check your messages and social media.
People get this thing wrong: they think that by multi-tasking they can save time.
But in reality there’s a lot more time wasted.
This is because there is much more mental energy needed for multi-tasking.
So if you want to improve your productivity then try to implement single-tasking.
There are many technique’s that can improve your productivity but in the end it all comes down to your mindset.
If you really want to achieve your goals then you should have no problem with these tips.
