6 Essentials for a good Morning Routine

To get faster results, get more productive and live overall a better life you must implement a good morning routine.

Idealy you want to add as many healthy habits as possible to your daily routine.

A Morning Routine will add structure to your day and will help you to wake up faster and get more things done.

So here’s a list I made for you  with the 6 Essentials you need for a good morning routine.

1. What to do for a good Morning Routine:Waking up early

It does not matter at first if its 4.30 pm or 5.00 pm, important is that you start waking up a lot earlier as you usually would.

Waking up early has the benefits that in the few extra hours you now have, you can do the things that are important for you.

You don’t have to go to your job or do something for anyone. It’s your time.

You will also have more time to get ready in the morning so you don’t have to rush to work or school.

By waking up early everyday, you will get more disciplined and develop a strong will power because you break out of your comfort zone.

2. Working out

The next thing you want to do after you wake up, is Working out.

When you work out in the morning you will get more energized and have a much clearer mind in the rest of the day.

You will get more disciplined and have a much stronger character when you workout immediatly after you woke up at 5.30 pm.

Think about it: you suffered through the wake-up process, tired as hell, and now decide to workout.

You broke out of your comfort zone 2 times in a row. And thats in the first hour of your day !

By doing that daily you will slowly develop much more confidence.

3. A cold shower

The best method to wake you up in the morning is by taking a cold shower.

This has the benefits that you will feel immediatly mor

e awake (obviously) and feel more energized and ready to jumpstart your day.

Cold showers have the following health benefits:

  • Improved Immunity and Circulation
  • Stimulation of Weight Loss
  • Stress Relief

4. Staying hydrated

If you don’t wake up in the night to drink water, which you should’nt be doing for a good sleep, then you are dehydrated after not drinking water for 7-8 hours.

So implement in your daily routine 1-2 cups of water that you drink immediatly after waking up.

You will wake up much faster after that and treat your body with the nutritients it needs.

5. Meditating

Meditation has many proven health benefits:

  • stress relief
  • better emotional health
  • wider attention span

Try meditating after your workout and your cold shower.

If you feel unsure how to do it properly than read it up online or download helpful apps like Headspace.

6.Writing a journal

Write a journal or a note on your phone, it doesn’t matter how you do it.

Write 3 things you are grateful for and your daily goals.

This will make you more aware about what you have and set you up for the day and after you’ve done your tasks, check them off in your journal.

This will motivate you in your day and will help you to get more productive.

I hope you found that list helpful and if you try implement at least 3 things in your morning routine than you will start to improve your life.

An evening routine would be helpful for a more structured day.

A blogpost on that will follow soon. So stick around for more.
